Bio

After completing my BA in Linguistics and Psychology at McMaster University, I went on to work in social services for several years. Once I started to feel the physical effects of stress from the job, I decided it was timfor a career change. This was when I became aware of the importance of holistic health care and knew I wanted to help share the benefits with others.

I returned to school for massage therapy at the D'Arcy Lane Institute in London, Ontario, graduating in 2006 and immediately obtained my registration with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario. I moved to Toronto in 2008 and have been practicing in Leslieville since.

My treatments are focused on you, as an individual client, by combining therapeutic and / or relaxation techniques depending on your needs and preferences. I offer general swedish massage therapy, and have taken additional courses in pregnancy massage, infant massage, myofascial release, sports massage, reflexology, and acupressure. With your consent more than one modality may be incorporated into a session if it helps in providing a more effective treatment.
